n. - jig (or jigging) refers to a popular dance which originated from Baton Rouge and popularized by Louisiana rapper Lil' Boosie. The dance is mentioned (or seen in) the songs "Beast Mode" and "Power Up," and is often performed while under the influence of prescription or illegal pills (such as ecstasy).
